Is there a membership fee?
Yes. Recreational membership is £12 per year, competitive membership is £18 per year. These are both renewable every October.
How do I pay for classes?
You will receive a link by email to set up your online account with LoveAdmin. All payments are taken monthly by direct debit.
What should my child wear for class?
Leotards are compulsory for all advanced classes. For our pre-school and recreational classes leotards are preferred but not essential. Gymnasts can wear their own leotards or we have recreational and competition training leotards available to purchase.
Is my child insured?
Individuals are required to take out insurance through British Gymnastics www.british-gymnastics.org. Insurance is renewable every October.
Are your coaches qualified?
Yes. All our coaches who take charge of a group are qualified through British Gymnastics. We have some assistant coaches who are working towards their first qualification. All our coaches have a safeguarding award and are DBS checked.
Can parents watch?
Unfortunately we don't have sufficient space in the gym for spectators. We do have CCTV cameras so you can view your children from the television screen in the waiting room. We allow parents of new starters to watch their first session.
What is your ratio of children to coaches?
Usually a maximum of 8 to 1.
How do I join?
If you are interested in joining our club, please send an email to membership@tamworth-gymnastics.com, expressing your preferences and we will do our best to accommodate them. Please be aware that some of our classes have a waiting list.
